A report Saturday morning of a reckless driver led to a Fremont man’s arrest.
Larry G. Weyrich, 50, was cited on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of marijuana less than one ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia. The charges came after citizens reported a reckless driver on old Highway 275.
Witnesses provided a license plate number of the car and officers had contact with Weyrich in the 2300 block of east Donna Street and noted signs of impairment consistent with the consumption of alcohol.
A DUI investigation was conducted and Weyrich was cited. Officers also seized a small amount of marijuana and a glass pipe commonly used to smoke it.
