The 141st Fremont Area Chamber Annual Banquet and Hall of Fame Gala was conducted Thursday night at the Fremont Golf Club.
The banquet is traditionally conducted in February but was shifted to the fall due to COVID-19 concerns.
The late Gene Steffensmeier was inducted into the Chamber Hall of Fame. The owner of Gene Steffy Auto Group in Fremont and Columbus passed away in November of 2020.
WholeStone Farms captured the Large Business Award. Other nominees included INSPRO Insurance and Home Instead Senior Care.
The Small Business Award went to the Three Rivers Public Health Department. Fremont Therapy and Wellness and La Hacienda were also nominated.
DPA Auctions received the Workforce Game Changer Award that is presented to a business that takes care of employees in unique ways.
Other nominees were Dodge County Realty Group and EleMETAL Fabrication and Machine.
About 300 people attended the event.
