The Three Rivers Public Health Department will be taking the mobile vaccination trailer from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday to the Regency Mobile Home Park, 807 S. Broad Street in Fremont.
The Three Rivers health district has reported 11,254 cases of CoVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic. There have been 163 cases in the last seven days and 349 cases in the past 14 days.
“We also have implemented a change with contact tracing,” Three Rivers Executive Director Terra Uhing said. “Due to continued community spread, our staff are currently unable to call every individual testing positive for COVID-19. To improve our ability to reach those who test positive, Three Rivers is using Nebraska’s contact tracing survey.”
Uhing said if the test is positive for anyone 19 or older, they will receive a survey via text message. If the survey is not completed, the survey will be rerouted for a call with a Three Rivers staff member or with someone with the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
Officials said if you receive the survey after speaking with a Three Rivers staff member or state partner, please disregard the survey.
“This survey allows us to better understand the spread of COVID-19 in the Three Rivers jurisdiction and provide timely guidance to those who test positive and their contacts,” Uhing said.
Testing is being done in a collaborative partnership with Total Wellness. The testing site is a drive-through and appointments can be made at this link: www.totalwellnesshealth.com/private/3rphd/.
