
The Fremont Tigers had to wait an additional 45 minutes through a weather-delay to play Lincoln North Star, at Heedum Field, Thursday night…but the delay did not effect the Tigers productivity in a 49-0 shutout of the Navigators.
Quarterback Carter Sintek was 6-of-8 passing for 186 yards and two touchdowns, both to Drew Sellon. Sellon ended the night catching four passes for 163 yards and two td’s. Sellon also returned an interception 43 yards for a score. On the ground, Micah Moore carried the ball 17 times for 179 yards and two touchdowns. The Tigers were led on defense by Mason Limbach with seven tackles, and a sack.
Lincoln North Star suffered it’s sixth straight loss, and is 1-6 on the season. The Navigators will host Millard South on Friday, Oct. 15th. Fremont, now 4-2, will host Millard South, next Friday, Oct. 8th at 7pm, at Heedum Field.
