Tuesday, September 28th, 2021 at approximately 9:10AM, Zackery J. Carlstrom, 30, of Fremont was arrested on 2 outstanding arrest warrants out of Lancaster County, NE. Carlstrom was wanted for escape from the Community Correction Center in Lincoln, NE where he was being held on previous narcotic possession charges out of Dodge County, NE.
The arrest came after the Fremont Police Department received a tip that Carlstrom was in the area of the 2700 block of north Clarkson Street. Carlstrom was taken into custody, without incident, by officers from the Fremont Police Department uniformed patrol division, detectives from the Fremont Police Detective Bureau, the Dodge County Sheriff’s office, and agents from the III CORPS Drug Task Force.
Carlstrom escaped from the Community Corrections Center by jumping over a fence on Thursday, September 9th, 2021.
