The First State Bank American Legion Juniors Baseball team defeated Gretna #2, last night at Nick Novak Field, 11-3, in five innings. Ryan Dix pitched 2.1 innings, strikeout out four. Colin Ridder went 2-for-4 with 2 rbi’s and Dom Escovedo knocked in three runs. The Juniors begin play in the Grand Island Tournament, today.
The First State Bank Seniors begin play today in the Elkhorn Tournament. First State plays Bennington at 10:15am and Millard Sox Black at 12:30pm.
In Dodge County Baseball League action tonight, Dodge plays at West Point, Blair is at Wahoo and Leigh/Schuyler plays at Scribner. All games begin at 7:30pm.
