Mildred I. “Millie” Knight, 69 years, of Scribner, NE passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point, NE.
Millie was born July 22, 1951 to Edgar and Ida (Eckert) Knight in Los Angeles, CA. She grew up in California and moved to Nebraska around the Fremont area in 1960. In Millie’s earlier years, she enjoyed playing softball. She was an avid Nebraska and Green Bay Packers fan. Millie loved the outdoors, which included camping, swimming, and fishing. Millie and her family loved to travel to Yankton, SD. Millie also enjoyed going to Columbus to watch the Kentucky Derby.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Edgar J. Knight and Robert E. Knight.
She is survived by her son, Ben (Erica) Knight; sister, Matilda “Tillie” Fees; and grandchildren, Kobe, Ashlei, Kali, and Benjamin II.
A Memorial Visitation will be held 3 P.M. to 6 P.M., Monday, June 21, 2021 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont.
Burial will be at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
