The Fremont Police Department is investigating a pair of incidents from Tuesday.
At 10 a.m., there was a reported theft of two vehicle license plates at a residence in the 1400 block of east Fourth Street.
The plates are believed to have been removed from a vehicle while it was parked and unoccupied over the weekend. The license plate No. is 5-C396.
At about noon, the theft of a catalytic converter was reported from a business in the 700 block of Factory Street.
The theft was from a Ford F350 truck. It is believed to have happened sometime between Monday and Tuesday. The converter’s cost is estimated at $1,000.
