State Golf Enters Final Day

The NSAA State Boys Golf Championships began Tuesday.  Class A is at the Norfolk Country Club.  After day one, Lincoln Pius X is in first after a 285.  Omaha Creighton Prep is second with a 290.  Jacob Boor of Creighton Prep is at the top of the leaderboard with a 4-under 68.  Fremont’s Tyler Show is tied for 43rd after a 10-over 82.
In Class B at Elks Country Club in Columbus, Mount Michael Benedictine is in first with a 325.  Omaha Skutt Catholic is second at 333.  Luke Gutchewski of Mount Michael leads the way with a 1-under 71.
Class C is at the Kearney Country Club.  Columbus Scotus is in first with a 335.  Aquinas Catholic is second at 341.  Rockney Peck of Wisner-Pilger is in first place after a 72.  Brady Davis of Bergan is tied for 20th after an 85.
Class D is a Lake Maloney Golf Club in North Platte.  North Platte St. Pat’s is first with a 329.  Elm Creek is second at 341.  Brendon Walker of Mullen leads the pack with a 2-under 70.
Final round action at all four sites, is today.
