Fremont Public Schools presented a COVID-19 update this afternoon.
Only two students were not in school today due to a positive COVID-19 test. There were 30 students not in school due to quarantine.
There were six employees not at work due to a positive COVID-19 test. Only one employee was not working due to quarantine.
The district does not release information by school or grade level in an effort to not share information that is personally identifiable.
The district also released current enrollment numbers for students participating in the virtual learning environment. As of today, 226 students are enrolled in the virtual school option. That figure represents approximately 4.68 percent of the overall student enrollment of 4,834.
The Three Rivers Public Health Risk Dial for Dodge County remained the same this week at 2.14 — low orange. As a reminder, the dial utilizes eight data points on a rolling three-week average.
