Legislative Update: Bob Flittie & Sen. Lynne Walz – March 5

FREMONT – Friday noon, Bob Flittie visited with District-15 State Senator Lynn Walz about several legislative issues.
Senator Walz chairs the Education Committee and Flittie asked about what she hears from teachers who struggle to teach both in the classroom and online:

Senator Walz had some comments about her bill that would restrict the length of trains rolling across Nebraska, and particularly in Dodge County, to 8500 feet:

She said blocked rail crossings present a real danger:

District-15 Senator Lynn Walz’ priority bill is LB-84, which would provide for bonding authority to finance construction of the Expressway system statewide. She spoke with Bob Flittie Monday about the reasons for the bill.
