The Fremont Police Department is investigating a theft Monday afternoon.
At approximately 1:45 p.m., the theft was reported in the 3200 block of east Military Avenue. Reported stolen was a catalytic converter off a vehicle that was in the parking lot of a business. Estimated loss in $1,200.
At about 4 p.m. Monday, a damage to property complaint was made at a business in the 800 block of East 23rd Street. There was damage to a passenger side window of a vehicle that had been parked in the business’ lot. The window appeared to have been hit several times by a small pellet projectile such as a BB from a pellet gun. Estimated damage is $200.
Also on Monday at 6 p.m., a damage to property complaint was made at a business in the 3200 block of East 23rd Avenue. Damage was reported to a vehicle that was parked and unattended in the parking lot. Police said it appeared an unknown person caused damage to the passenger side of the vehicle by scratching it with a key or similar item. Estimated damage is $500.
