FREMONT – On Saturday, February 20, at approximately 8:35 am, Michael S. Pollitt, 31, of Bellevue, NE was arrested on suspicion of 1st Degree Arson, Criminal Mischief, and Criminal Trespassing following a disturbance complaint at a residence in the 700 block of Empire Avenue.
He is accused of being at the residence of a former acquaintance, where he has been told he is not welcome, and setting fire to a couch cushion. No persons were injured in the incident. Damage to the couch and an adjoining wall is estimated at $300.
