LINCOLN – The women’s gymnastic team put up a good score but couldn’t outmaneuver Michigan; meanwhile, the men’s basketball team prepares to take on Maryland.
Gymnastics
The Nebraska women’s gymnastics team (1-5, 1-4 Big Ten) posted its best team score of the season. However, NU fell short against No. 8 Michigan, 197.650-195.350 on Monday afternoon.
Senior Kynsee Roby posted a career-high on uneven bars with a score of 9.925, which won her the event title. As a team, Nebraska posted season-highs on three events, vault, bars and floor.
Nebraska returns home to the Bob Devaney Sports Center for a meet with the Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday, Feb. 20. The meet will begin at 7 p.m.
Men’s Basketball
The Nebraska men’s basketball team concludes a grueling run with a pair of games at Maryland this week. The Huskers and Terrapins will clash at the XFINITY Center on both Tuesday and Wednesday with start times set for 6 p.m. (central) on both nights. Tonight’s game will be broadcast on Big Dog Country, 98.9 FM and 1340 AM with the Husker Sports Network.
