Catherine “Cathy” S. Neuman

Catherine “Cathy” S. Neuman, age 65 of Fremont, peacefully passed away, Friday, February 5, 2021 at Hooper Care Center in Hooper NE.
 
Cathy was born April 15, 1955 to Ernest and Dolores (Orpen) Johnson.  She grew up in Fremont and graduated from Fremont High School in 1973.  She married Kent Neuman on February 4, 1984. Cathy was a loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt.  She was upbeat, hardworking and always willing to help others.  Cathy loved animals, often she would have some baby animal in the house that she was caring for.  Cathy enjoyed building things, it may be a hutch or a birdhouse.  She was very creative and always had new plans for stuff to create.  Cathy had a passion for her special sugar cookies and squirt guns.  She loved junk stores and Target dollar aisle, funny socks and teasing her many nieces and nephews.  She had an amazing personality and was able to make anyone laugh with her humor and antics.  Cathy left a large impact on everyone she met, she will be missed and remembered by many.
 
Cathy is preceded in death by her father Ernest Johnson and her brother Alan Johnson.
 
Cathy is survived by her mother, Dolores; husband of 37 years Kent; children, Dusty (Angie), Megan (Kevin), Annie (Justin); 10 grandchildren, Lucas, Alexander, Rowan, Rhiannon, Hudsun, Vawn, Donavin, Ainsley, Charlee and Catherine; sisters, Pam (Randy), Barbara (Andy), Doreen (Mike); brother, Roy (Jean) and many nieces and nephews that she adored.
Memorials are asked to be made to the family.
Funeral service will be at 1 P.M., Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Bluffs Trinity Lutheran Church 1693 Co Rd 17, Fremont NE.  The service will be live-streamed on Bluffs Trinity’s Facebook page.
Current CDC and local guidelines will be followed.  Masks are required.
