
FREMONT – Midland University President, Jody Horner, was a guest on the KHUB Morning Show on Thursday, January 7, 2021.
President Horner delved into topics such as interterm classes, continuing safety measures with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the spring semester, and the addition of Agribusiness as Midland’s newest field of study.
Horner first touched on how Midland navigated the first semester of the school year.
President Horner told KHUB how Midland came to the decision to hold interterm classes online.
Horner then discussed how the return of students to campus for the spring semester looks different this year, as they are implementing a phased approach.
Jody then moved to talk about the new Agribusiness major and other new course offerings being made available in that field of study.
To design the new Agribusiness major, President Horner said they really focused on receiving input from local businesses.
