Kim A. Koski age 50, of Fremont passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Dunklau Gardens in Fremont.  Kim was born January 16, 1970 in Fremont to Larry and Sandra (Diedrichsen) Koski.
She was raised in Fremont and was a 1988 graduate of Fremont Senior High School.  She played softball at Northwest Missouri State University in Marysville, MO graduating in 1992. She then was camp counselor at Camp Tapawingo in Maine for one summer prior to coming back to Fremont. Kim then started to work for the City of Fremont, most recently she has been the Director of Fremont Parks & Recreational Department. A couple of her great accomplishments were supervising the building of the Fremont Splash Station and most recently the extensive remodeling project at the Fremont City Auditorium. She recently received her 25 year service award from the city and mayor Getzschman.
Kim was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fremont and the Nebraska Parks & Rec. Association.  She had a great love for her family especially her niece and nephew.  She attended most if not all of their activities, treated them as they were her own children and they were her “WHY”.
She is survived by her mother, Sandra Koski of Fremont; brothers, Mike (Amy) Koski of Kearney, NE and Bryan Koski of Fremont; niece and nephew, Emily and Ryan Koski of Kearney.
Kim was preceded in death by her father, Larry Koski.
Memorial Mass will be 10:30 A.M., Thursday, January 7, 2021 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fremont. Masks will be required.  Memorial Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Wednesday and with the family receiving friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday all at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Interment will follow Mass at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
A memorial will be established in Kim’s name.
