FREMONT – Fremont Police received two burglary reports Tuesday, December 1, as well as a theft report.
At approximately 4:15 pm, a burglary was reported to a residence in the 800 block of south Broad Street. Sometime between 8:30 am and 4 pm, someone forcibly entered the home and took items including jewelry, electronics, and collectibles. The estimated loss is $3,800.
The second burglary report was received shortly after at 5:25 pm in the same block of south Broad Street. This burglary attempt seemed to be unsuccessful as it looked like sometime between 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, someone attempted to gain entry into the residence through a window but was unsuccessful. Nothing was reported stolen. Based on initial evidence, Fremont Police believes that the incidents are related, but it is not definite at this time.
Fremont Police also received a theft report Tuesday at approximately 6:30 pm in the 2600 block of north Laverna Street. Reported stolen was a package delivered by Amazon and left in front of the residence. The package contained items including a bedding set. The estimated loss is $120.
