Beverly “Jean” Sudduth

Beverly “Jean” Sudduth, 85, of Fremont, NE., passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020, at Providence Place in Fremont. She was born December 29, 1934 in Wessington Springs SD, to Alonzo and Grace (Turrill) Hines. Jean was the youngest of 3 girls born to Alonzo and Grace.
Beverly attended grade school in the Wessington Springs area and graduated from Wessington Springs high school in 1952. After high school she worked as a babysitter and house cleaner until moving to Fremont, NE. in 1971, working for the Campbell’s Soup Company for 30 plus years.
Jean’s first marriage was to Ben Foos on July 2, 1958.  She later married Sanford “Bill” Sudduth on October 15, 1971. Sanford preceded her in death on February 10, 2005.
Jean was a avid Cornhusker fan and loved animals and flowers.
Survivors include nephews, Dave (JoAnn) Doering of Mitchell, SD., and Gary Doering of Cavour, SD.; nieces, Janice (Doug) Bich, and Joyce (Rick) Carmichael both of Cavour SD. and many other great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Sanford (Bill), and sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen (Gilbert) Hines and Evelyn (Orville) Doering.
Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Monday, October 19, 2020 at Memorial Cemetery at Fremont. The Rev. Dale Powell will officiate. Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 prior to the graveside at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont.
Memorials may be directed to Providence Place or Serene Care.
