In high school football, Bergan defeated Tekamah-Herman in a decisive shutout, Bergan- 63, Tekamah-Herman-0. Bergan is undefeated this season, 7-0.
Turning to high school volleyball, in NCC Tournament Pool Play, Bergan won over Columbus Scotus 2-0 (25-10, 25-13). The wins marked Head Coach Sue Wewel’s 700th coaching victory.
Later in the tournament, Bishop Neumann won over Bergan 25-20, 20-25, 25-13. In the tournament’s 3rd place match, Lincoln Lutheran won over Bergan 25-20, 25-16. Bergan volleyball is 18-10 on the season.
