FREMONT – Here’s the latest in local sports from Rich Ray:
The Midland University volleyball matchup between the Warriors and the College of St. Mary’s Flames was postponed last night, along with all other games on the Flames’ volleyball slate through October 2nd. College of St. Mary has not given a reason for the postponement.
Coming up today:
The Walnut Radio Husker Football Luncheon is today at the Fremont Golf Club. The guest speaker is Steve Sipple of the Lincoln Journal Star. Doors open at 11am. The program starts at 12 noon. Cost is $20. Tickets can be purchased at the radio station or at the Fremont Golf Club. There will be many prizes given away, as well.
