Risk dial dips for 3RPHD jurisdiction

The Three Rivers Public Health Department has updated its risk dials for the week.

The three-county jurisdiction of Dodge, Saunders and Washington counties dipped from 2.20 last week to 2.05.

Dodge remained at 2.05 from the previous week. Saunders also stayed the same at 2.20. Washington dropped from 2.05 last week to 1.90 this week.

Officials said the drop in the jurisdiction was due to a decrease in the number of cases and also decreases in weekly positivity, Omaha Healthcare Coalition COVID-19 inpatients and community spread.

There were three new deaths in the jurisdiction related to COVID-19. One Dodge County man in his 80s and two Washington County residents — a man in his 40s and a woman in her 70s. That brings the death count to 77 in Dodge, 20 in Saunders and 26 in Washington for a total of 123 in the jurisdiction.
