3RPHD COVID-19 Community Risk Dial Now Viewable

FREMONT – The COVID-19 Community Risk Dial for the Three Rivers Public Health Department (3RPHD) jurisdiction of Dodge, Washington, and Saunders counties is now posted at threeriverspublichealth.org under the coronavirus updates tab.
The risk dial is intended to give an overview of the current risk of COVID-19 in the 3RPHD jurisdiction. COVID-19 risk is classified into 4 categories low, moderate, high, and severe with guidance for what precautions should be taken at each risk level. The guidance for each risk level is based on federal and national guidance published by top public health experts. This guidance does not replace any federal, state, or local directed health measures.
Some of the objective measures that go into deciding the risk level include positivity rate, number of new cases, COVID-19 inpatients in the hospital, and on ventilators, cases considered community spread, testing, and ability to contact trace in 48 hours. 3RPHD will be updating the risk dial weekly based on data from the previous week (Sunday to Saturday).
The COVID-19 Community Risk Dial was adapted from the work done by 3RPHD colleagues at the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department.
