FREMONT – Baseball action throughout the area is underway in the Dodge County Baseball League, Legion League and with Fremont’s Expedition League team, the Fremont Moo.

In Dodge County Baseball League action, last night, Dodge defeated Arlington, 3-2. Jake Brune hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win it for the Diamondbacks.
In other action, Scribner defeated Leigh/Schuyler, 2-1.
Fremont Moo
Tonight, the Fremont Moo begins the 2020 season. The Moo will be in Hastings to take on the Sodbusters. First pitch is 6:35pm. Tomorrow night’s game between the Moo and Hastings will be broadcast on Big Dog Country 98.9 FM and 1340 AM, beginning at 6:25pm.
Legion Baseball
The First State Bank American Legion Seniors baseball team is back at home, today, hosting Grand Island Home Federal, in a double header at Novak Field. Game one begins at 4pm. The second game, at approximately 6pm, will be broadcast on Big Dog Country 98.9 FM and 1340 AM.
The First State Juniors are in action this weekend, competing at the Elkhorn Tournament.
The First State Reserves compete in the Omaha South Tournament, this weekend, at Brown Park. The Reserves play tonight at 5:30, and 8pm.
