GRAND ISLAND – Former Midland University women’s basketball coach Matt Fritsche is coming back to Nebraska.
Fritsche has been named the athletic director at Grand Island Northwest High School. Fritsche was the girls basketball coach at Bellevue West High School for ten years, before coaching the Warriors. Fritsche went on to serve as assistant basketball coach at Creighton for four seasons, before coaching Hillsdale College in Michigan, for the past three years.
Fritsche is a graduate of University of Nebraska-Kearney and holds a master’s in educational leadership from Doane College.
