No. 14 Creighton (9-3, 2-0 BIG EAST) plays the first two of its league-high 10 road matches of the regular-season this weekend when it ventures to the East Coast for a pair of BIG EAST battles.
The Bluejays put their 21-match BIG EAST win streak in regular-season play on the line on Friday in Queens, N.Y., when they take on St. John’s (9-6, 1-1 BIG EAST) in a 6 p.m. CST match-up at Carnesecca Arena.
Creighton then meets up with Seton Hall (5-11, 0-2 BIG EAST) on Saturday evening in another 6 p.m. CST contest from Walsh Gymnasium in South Orange, N.J.

The Omaha volleyball team dropped a five-set match to Oral Roberts on the road Tuesday evening.

The Mavericks took the first and third sets, but ultimately fell 25-21, 20-25, 25-16, 21-25, 12-15. With the loss, Omaha falls to 9-8 overall and 2-1 in league play, while Oral Roberts improves to 5-12 and 1-2 in the conference.

Omaha shifts its focus to its next road contest in Summit League action. The Mavericks battle the South Dakota Coyotes this Friday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m.
