WICHITA, Kan. – Midland University was on the road again as the team competed in the Friends Tournament hosted by Friends University in Wichita, Kansas. The Warriors took the field for a pair of games on Friday against Friends and Avila University and wrapped up the trip on Saturday with games against No. 2 University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, Bethel College, and York College.
The Warriors would earn four wins on the weekend and outscored the opposition 33-11 along the way. The lone loss came to No. 2 USAO in 10-9, late inning thriller. Midland’s record moves to 5-4 on the year.
