Fremont Man Arrested for Trespassing

FREMONT – A Fremont man was arrested last night after being told to stay away from a residence multiple times.

Thursday morning at 1:15AM officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1000 block of north Hancock Street. It was reported to police that a man who was not allowed to be at the residence was on his way there, despite the resident’s wishes. The resident believed the man to be intoxicated and she did not want him there.

Responding officers observed the man on foot in the area of the residence.  Upon contact with him, he showed signs of impairment consistent with the consumption of alcoholic beverages. The man became belligerent with officers, who made him aware of the complaint, but he agreed to find shelter elsewhere for the night.

However, just three hours later, officers were called back to the residence after the man showed up again, banging on the front door. Victor L. Moreno, 24, of Fremont was arrested for Trespassing and Disorderly Conduct.
