Garry Lee Mueller, 75, of Fremont passed away Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023, at the Douglas County Health Center in Omaha. He was born July 5, 1948, in Fremont to Walter and Donna (Davis) Mueller.
Garry graduated from Fremont High School in 1966. He served in the U.S. Navy from Aug. 22, 1967, to July 26, 1971, during Vietnam. He worked and drove for Christensen Lumber and Helena Trucking. Garry enjoyed cars and was a huge Husker fan.
Garry is survived by his brother, Ronald (Sharon) Mueller of Fremont; niece, Tina (Barrett) Schmidt of Fremont, great nieces and nephew, Jules, Barron and Ashley (Gavin) Petersen.
He was preceded in death by his parents; niece and family Amy and Rod, Allyssa, Sheldon and Mariah Johnson.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Rev. Scott Jensen will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Tuesday.
Interment and Military honors will be conducted by the Fremont Honor Guard of VFW Post No. 854 and American Legion Post No. 20 at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
