Three Rivers Public Health Department will host its Third Annual Fall Family Health Fair Oct. 13 in Fremont.
In addition, Three Rivers will host its First Annual Fall Family Health Fair Oct. 19 in Blair.
The health fairs are free, family-centered events designed to bring the community together to learn about local health services, prevention strategies, and resources while also enjoying fun activities and giveaways.
FREMONT FALL FAMILY HEALTH FAIR:
Tuesday, October 13, 4-8 p.m.
Christensen Field Complex, 1730 W 16th St, Fremont
BLAIR FALL FAMILY HEALTH FAIR:
Monday, October 19, 5-8 p.m.
Vinton Corner Building Parking Lot, 1762 Washington St, Blair
Event Highlights include:
• Free Lead Testing for Children Under 6
• Flu Shots for all ages
• Free Diabetes Screenings & Health Education
• Free Car Seat Checks by certified technicians
• Family-friendly giveaways, bounce house, coloring contest, and more
• Dinner for the family: Pizza
October is recognized as National Children’s Health Month and marks National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week (October 25-31). Celebrate environmental public health Three Rivers. The Fall Family Health Fair is free and open to the public. No appointments are necessary.
