Authorities are investigating a two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon in North Bend.
At about 5:09 p.m., the Fremont/Dodge County Communications Center received a call for a personal injury crash on Platte River Road near Chestnut Street.
Dale Kinney, 95, of North Bend was driving a 2023 Polaris Ranger UTV eastbound on Platte River Road.
He attempted to turn north onto Chestnut Street and collided with a 2022 Lincoln Nautilus driven by
Marlene Johnson, 70, of North Bend.
Kinney was transported by North Bend Volunteer Fire Department to Methodist Fremont Health. He was
later life flighted to an Omaha area hospital. He is presently in critical but stable condition.
The Platte River Road was shut down for approximately three hours.
