Jimmie “Jim” Knoell passed away at his home on May 25, 2026. Jim was born September 14, 1948, in Fremont to James and Carmelitta (Dryden) Knoell.
He graduated from Fremont High School. He married Linda (Young) Knoell in April 13, 1968. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Jim was a lifelong resident of Fremont. He had two children and one grandchild.
Jim had different jobs over the years, most recently, he was working at Tailgate Motors and volunteering at the food pantry in Fremont. Jim enjoyed woodworking, helping others when needed, listening to music and playing solitaire. With a variety of interests, he always kept himself busy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Linda.
Survivors include, son, Todd Knoell of Tecumseh; daughter, Brandi Leidy of Cedar Bluffs; grandson, Josh Knoell, of Fremont; brother, Jack (Pat) Knoell of Willits, California.
A Celebration of Life Service is set for Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 1-4 p.m. at Clemmons Park, in Fremont. Online condolences may be left at www.mosermemorialchapels.com.
