
First responders were dispatched at about 11:34 Wednesday morning to the south side of the Blair Executive Airport following reports of a small airplane crash with unknown injuries.
Upon arrival, first responders located a single-engine aircraft in a field south of the runway. The aircraft had one occupant, who was not injured in the incident but was evaluated on scene by EMS personnel.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation by the Blair Police Department and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Preliminary information indicates the aircraft may have experienced engine failure, and the pilot conducted an emergency landing in the field.
