The City of Fremont is calling a snow emergency that will be in effect from 8 a.m. Wednesday until 8 a.m. Thursday.
Cari Hoffart, the superintendent of streets, said in a news release that based on the snowfall, officials deem it necessary to allow residents to begin clearing vehicles from snow routes.
