The City of Fremont has declared a snow emergency in effect from 10 a.m. today (Jan. 8) through 10 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 10).
Fremont Street Superintendent Cari Hoffart urges residents to stay home unless it is necessary to travel. She said if officials are able to keep the area clear prior to Wednesday, the notice may be canceled early.
