Fremont police officers were dispatched at about 7 Tuesday night to the area of 20th Street and Hancock Street for an assault complaint.
The investigation determined that individuals were walking when they were approached by a man who made unwanted advances toward them. The man was later identified as Mateo Gabriel, 57, of Fremont. He was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace and disorderly conduct.
