FREMONT, Neb. – Midland University has announced its football schedule for the 2023 season. The Warriors are coming off an 8-3 season in which they finished tied for third in the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) with a 7-3 mark.
The 2023 season will open up on the road for Midland as they travel to face Clarke University on August 26 in Dubuque, Iowa. A week later, the Warriors will begin GPAC play with a home contest with the University of Jamestown. The home opener is slated for Saturday, September 2 at 1:00 p.m.
This year’s home slate consists of five games at Heedum Field. Midland will also host Briar Cliff University (Sept. 9), Northwestern College (Sept. 30), Mount Marty University (Oct. 14), and Doane University (Oct. 21). The home finale against the Tigers will serve as the 2023 Homecoming Game and will also be Senior Day. All home games are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. kickoffs.
Road games in the GPAC include trips to Dakota Wesleyan University (Sept. 17), Morningside University (Sept. 23), Dordt University (Oct. 7), Concordia University (Oct. 28), and Hastings College (Nov. 4).
