Area Tracksters compete at Bulldog Track & Field Challenge

Area teams competed in the Forrest division of the 2023 Bulldog Track and Field Challenge , this past Friday, March 17th, at the Bulldog Fieldhouse, on the campus of Concordia College in Seward.

In the Boys 4×800 Meter Relay, Arlington brought home the Gold medal, with a time of 8:43.18, a new meet record for Dallin Franzluebbers, Kevin Flesner, Luke Hammang, and Nolan May.

In the Girls 3200 meter run, Sophie Neil of Archbishop Bergan, ran away with the Gold medal in 13:47.81.  Eva Georgoulopoulo of Mead took 3rd place.

Boys 3200 Meter run, Gage Stutzman of Howells-Dodge finished in 2nd place at 11:25.56.

Girls 60 meter Hurdles, Freshman Kylie Krajicek, of Yutan finished 6th in 10.95

Boys 60 meter Hurdles, Howells-Dodge , Lance Brester took 2nd place in 9.05 , Andre Martin of Howells-Dodge finished 4th in 10.02.

Girls 60 Meter Dash, Allison Kirchman of Yutan claimed 7th place in 8.72 seconds.

Boys 60 Meter Dash, Kade McIntyre of Archbishop Bergan took the Gold in 7.23 seconds.  Jett Arensberg of Yutan finished 3rd in 7.53, Kaden Foust of Arlington 4th in 7.55, Zach Krajicek of Yutan, 5th in 7.56.

Girls 400 , Mckenna Jones of Yutan finished 6th, 1:07.72.   Elizabeth Morales of Archbishop Bergan, 9th in 1:08.50.

Boys 400, Lance Brester , Howells-Dodge took 3rd, in 55.52.  Derek Wacker of Yutan 6th, 56.62

Girls 1600 Meter run,   Bergan Senior Kaitlyn Mlnarik won the gold medal in a time of 5:37.11.  Hailey O’Daniel of Arlington finished in 2nd at 5:49.53

Boys 1600 Meter run,  Nolar May of Arlington won the gold in 4:51.17.  Eagle Junior Kevin Flesner took 2nd at 5:04.42.  Arlington freshman John Morrison finished 5th at 5:18.24

Girls 800 , Keelianne Green of Arlington took home the gold in 2:35.46.  Kaitlyn Milnarik of Archbishop Bergan was 2nd at 2:37.89.  Gabi Tederman of Yutan, 4th in 2:45.03.  Mia Cortes of Bergan, 5th, 2:47.39

Boys 800 , Dallin Franzluebbers of Arlington won the gold in 2:14.35.  Luke Hammang of Arlington , 3rd at 2:16.82.

Boys 200, Bergan’s Trevor Brainard won the race in 24.74.  Tyler Else, Mead took 3rd at 24.90.  Will Bendig of Archbishop Bergan finished in 4th at 25.24

Girls 4×400 relay   Yutan was the top area finisher with a time of 4:38.27.  McKenna Jones, Alyssa Husing, Gabi Tederman, and Allison Kirchmann.

Boys 4×400 relay   Yutan boys team finished in 3rd place at 3:55.41.  Lucas Bussing, AJ Arensberg, Charles Defeo, and Jacke Poppe.  Howells-Dodge finished in 6th.

Girls Shot Put   Taylor Arp of Arlington won the Gold with a throw of 36’2′.  Cadie Robinson of Arlington took 2nd at 34-11.75

Boys Shot Put   Jestin Bayer of Howells-Dodge had the winning throw, 46′.  Kyle Quinn of Arlington , 3rd, 43-3.  Aaron Peralta, Bergan, 7th, 40-3.

Girls Long Jump  Keelianne Green of Arlington jumped 16-8.50 for 2nd place.  Hailey O’Daniel, 3rd at 15-11.  Avery Gossett , Bergan, 7th, 14-10.75

Boys Long Jump   Kaden Foust , Arlington won the gold at 20-5.25.  Brandon Koranda, Mead, 3rd 19-10.75. Hunter Luther , Howells-Dodge, 5th, 19-6

Girls High Jump   Kylie Krajicek, Yutan won the gold at 5 feet even.  McKenna Jones , Yutan, 2nd , 4-10.

Boys High Jump   Lance Brester, Howells-Dodge won the gold at 6 feet even.  Jett Arensberg, Yutan , 3rd, 5-10. Andre Martin , Howells-Dodge, 4th, 5-8.

In the Team race, Arlington won the Boys Forrest Division, with 66 team points.  Howells-Dodge was 2nd at 60.
