Work began today on a railroad crossing project on Highway 92 near Mead, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
The crossing repair work is being done by the Union Pacific Railway. Work is expected to last about three days.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up and put phones down.
