Recap for June 27th game against the Spearfish Sasquatch 9-1

Fremont, NE- The Moo lose their 14th game of the season in a tough 9-1 loss to the Spearfish Sasquatch. Fremont moves to 16-14 on the season while Spearfish moves to 12-17.
Spearfish would get the scoring started in the 1st with one run on an RBI double then another RBI double in the 3rd made it 2-0. The Sasquatch would blow it open in the 4th with four more runs started by a 2-RBI double, then an RBI single, and then one of 4 errors in the game for the Moo scored another. One more in the 5th and two more in the 7th would make it 9-0 before Fremont would finally get their first run of the night in the 9th on a single by Hayden Lewis that scored Derian Morphew.
Jason Axelberg was charged with the loss for the Moo going four and two-thirds innings allowing seven runs(six earned) on nine hits, and striking out nine. Cam Hoiland was credited with the win for the Sasquatch going seven innings allowing no runs and 4 hits on 5 strikeouts.
The Moo will look to salvage the series with the Sasquatch tomorrow at 7:05 for the final game of the season series between the two teams. It is Jersday Thursday as well tomorrow so make sure to wear your favorite team’s jersey for a $5 GA ticket.
