In addition to earning All-GPAC First Team recognition for the second-straight season, she was named the GPAC Player of the Year.

Rincon, a sophomore from Granada Hills, California, commanded the circle for Midland this year ranking first in nearly every statistical column. She was the leader in innings pitched (167.2), complete games (22), strikeouts (176), earned run average (1.96), and had an impressive 22-5 record with 1 save. At the plate, Rincon lead the team in doubles (13) and was third in runs scored (31), home runs (4), and total bases (67). She was named to the All-GPAC First Team and was also named the GPAC Pitcher of the Year.

Midland went 38-12 under first-year head coach Beth Singleton as a team. They won the GPAC regular-season championship, were runners-up in the postseason tournament, and garnered their fourth NAIA National Championship appearance in the last five years. They finished the season just outside the NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 poll, receiving 95 votes in the postseason poll.
