FPS Foundation honors academic achievers

Forty-six students were recently honored during the Fremont Public School Foundation’s 17th annual Academic Achievement Celebration at the Nell McPherson Theatre.
Foundation Executive Director Kevin Eairleywine served as emcee as the Fremont Public Schools Foundation honored students who graduated with a 3.75 GPA or higher while completing the most academically rigorous curriculum.
“The FPS Foundation is proud to recognize the academic achievements of our Fremont High School seniors,” Eairleywine said. “We believe that it is important to recognize their mentors and parents that have encouraged them throughout their time in school. We wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors.”
Also honored were their parents and mentors. Students and mentors were recognized and were all presented with a gift from the foundation.
The following students were recognized: Laura Alonzo Tzunux, Juan Alvarez, Tyson Baker, Diana Bautista Revilla, Grace Blick, Macy Bryant, Lucy Dillon, Elise Estudillo, Emma Foster, Francisco Garcia Jr., Juliana Godinez, Ainsley Goebel, Emma Hanson, Marina Harrison, Yukina Higashi, Ellah Hofer, Ty Jager, Karsen Jesse, Isabella Keaton, Mackenzie Kirby and Jackson Korman.
Also honored were: Kelley Lebahn, Mason Limbach, Marcos Linarte Garcia, Taylor McCabe, Skylar McDuffee, Brady Millard, Nolan Miller,
Micah Moore, Hailey Newill, Jennifer Ochoa, Kelseigh Olson, Matthew Ondracek, Morgan Ondracek, Josie Pettis, Allison Ramirez, Tyler Rayl, Jaiden Rensch, Mallory Schleicher, Devon Shallberg, Emma Sorensen, Braden Taylor, Mia Wagner, Carter Waters, Grace Williams and Madalyn Wusk.
Morgan Ondracek believes it was a great way to recognize students, their families and mentors.
“I’m grateful for this opportunity to be honored for my work and recognize the people who have helped me get here,” the senior said.
