Dodge County Clerk Fred Mytty said this morning that he will not seek re-election.
In a news release, Mytty thanked Dodge County voters for their support over the years. He said it has been an honor to serve for more than 12 terms as county clerk/election commissioner.
Mytty said he is relatively healthy, but thought this is the time “to call it quits.”
He states in the release that each county election process/results are derived from about 150 poll workers, canvassing board and his staff.
The county clerk said he will offer his full sport to his deputy, Micki Gilfry, and the rest of his staff “who will continue excellent service to Dodge County citizens and help the county board to guide the future of Dodge County with the opportunities and challenges facing the county.”
