Richard N. Bushlow, age 66, of Fremont
Died Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at his home
Richard was born April 30, 1955 in Sioux City, Iowa to Robert and Rozella ‘Wentworth’ Bushlow. He was
raised in Cherokee, Iowa and graduated from Cherokee High School in 1973. After high school he served in
the United States Air Force from 1973 to 1977. He was a ground radio repairman stationed at the Scribner Air
Base. After his time in the military he worked briefly in Schuyler then worked for Valmont for 35 years. After
he retired from Valmont, he began working at Structural Components System in Fremont.
On August 21, 1975 Richard married Donna Pritchett. They currently live in Fremont. The most important
things to Richard were his family, work and the Huskers.

Wife – Donna of Fremont
Children – Brandon (Stancie) Bushlow of Hooper and their children Keaton and Evan.
Brianne (Jacky Tsang) Bushlow of Fremont and her daughter Ireland
Blake Bushlow of Fremont and his children Lilly and Jayden
Sister – Becky (Craig) Pepper of Des Moines, IA.
Brother-in-law – Roger (Deanna) Pritchett of Bolivar, MO.
Sister-in-law – Janice (Randy) Blystone of Nevada, MO.
many nieces and nephews
Richard was preceded in death by his parents and a brother David.
Visitation with the family present, will be 2pm to 5pm, Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the Ludvigsen Mortuary
Chapel in Fremont. Memorials are suggested to the Hooper/Scribner Legion Baseball Program. There will be
no further services, burial will be at a later date.
