Thrown slushy leads to third-degree assault charge

A “slushy” incident landed a Fremont woman in trouble Tuesday morning.
At about 10 a.m., Marriah I. Pena, 20, was cited on third-degree assault following a two-vehicle property damage accident near Austin Lane and north Lincoln Avenue.
Pena is accused of throwing a “slushy” drink at the driver of the car following the accident.
