A 28-year-old Lincoln woman died as the result of injuries she suffered in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in Washington County.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office said Shannon Marie Musick was headed northbound in a white Toyota Tacoma pickup on County Road 15 when she failed to stop at a stop sign at about 10 a.m.
The pickup collided with the rear axle of a semi-tractor side-dump trailer being pulled by a Mack truck that was headed east on Nebraska Highway 91. The Mack driver, Rockford B. Shanks of Blair, was not injured.
The highway was shut down for more than an hour.
