NSP investigates fatal accident

The Nebraska State Patrol is investigating a fatal auto accident that occurred at about 3:27 p.m. Wednesday near Nickerson.
The crash happened on U.S. Highway 77 at County Road N, one mile north of  the junction of Highway 77 and north of County Road P.
The patrol said the crash involved a passenger car running into the back of a semi. The driver of the car died at the scene. The driver’s name has not been released.
