Chamber announces leadership class

The Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the selection of its 2021-22 Leadership Fremont class. The 28 participants are all individuals who live or work in the Fremont area.
The program develops participant awareness of the Fremont community, its problems, challenges and opportunities. The curriculum also focuses on how to engage in the community and helps participants define and enhance their leadership styles. The class will tour local points of interest to gain contextual information about the inner workings of government, businesses and community service organizations.
“It is a great responsibility to present our emerging community leaders with the tools to better understand the community and their leadership styles. There will always be a demand for exceptional leaders. We hope this program not only open eyes towards what truly makes Fremont special, but also encourages these leaders to find new ways to put their stamp on the community and make a difference going forward,” said Tara Lea, Executive Director for the Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce.

This is the 15th class since the program started up in its current format in 2006. The program is presented by the Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce and First State Bank & Trust Company. Graduates of this program will join a network of more than 270 Leadership Fremont alumni.
