John C Fremont Days Inc. has announced the election of new officers and five new board directors.
Barry Reker is the board president while Mike Roth will serve as vice-president. Ruth Fischer will perform the duties of administrative director. Their terms run through 2024.
New to the board of directors are:
- Abbie Strenger — Is a stay-at-home mom and home schooler. She serves on the Evangelism Committee at United Faith Community Church and has an extensive musical background.
- Allison (Ali) Taylor — Is a graphic design artist at Max D. Designs. The Morningside University graduate is a coach for the girls Junior Tiger basketball in the winter and spring seasons.
- Connie Dostal — Is the owner of Kiel’s Barbershop and is a past secretary, vice-president and president of NBASBA, Clover Gang 4H Club Leader and a committee member of St. Charles Catholic Church.
- Stacie Radford is a teller at Great Western Bank and is a member/leader of Circle Group at Great Western Bank. She is also a member of Sinai Lutheran Church, member of Prairie Piece Maker Quilt Guild and member of American Legion Auxiliary.
- Terri Dingwell is a Shelter Insurance Agent. She is also a member of the Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce, a Fremont Area Chamber Diplomat and member and officer of the Milford Chamber and a member and officer of the Pleasant Dale Women’s Club.
The board of directors also includes: Tracy Kaiser, treasurer; Tyler Rayl, secretary; Liz Rayl, auto and bike show director; Denise Dowty, children’s activities/balloon glow and ADA; Roth, food court/rodeo; Kevin Savoie, historical; Luis Delgado, sports/rodeo; Carol Fenske, logistics/parade; Jeff Miller, transportation; Strenger, Chautauqua Tent; Dostal, City Park; Dingwell, fundraising.
Radford and Taylor will share promotions. Radford will be in charge of the information booth while Taylor will co-chair promotions and rodeo.
Electrical portfolio was re-added to the list of directors with Todd Cattlett serving in that role.
