Donna J. Skinner, age 75 of Fremont, NE passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Nye Legacy in Fremont. She was born July 24, 1946 in Superior, NE to Eugene and Doris I. (Ohlson) Gaston.
She grew up in Superior and came to Fremont in 1960. She worked at Campbells Soup in Fremont. Donna moved to the Chimney Rock – Lake Minatare area in the Panhandle of Nebraska in 1973. She married Thomas Skinner and later divorced. In 1980 she moved back to Fremont.
She collected knickknacks and dolls, liked listening to Elvis, enjoyed raising her children and liked cooking.
Survived by, sons, Troy (Jenny) Skinner and Rowdy Skinner; sisters, Pam Gaston, Sharon Gaston and Jolene (Ken) Ewald all Fremont; brother, Steffen R. Gaston; and 9 nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, John Green.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
